NENIPION (Jennifer Pion) is a dominican singer-songwriter, with great influence from reggae rhythms, jazz, son, bachata, rap, and exponents like Fito Paez and Mercedes Sosa, deriving from the indie music genre. Her first opportunity to perform live was awarded by Tony Almont and Leo Susana in 2005, when she opened for one their shows. In 2006 she records a song with songwriter Manuel Jimenez, in the same album as Danny Rivera, Luis “Terror” Dias, Sonia Silvestre, Ana Belen, Victor Manuel, amongst others. The tour took her to perform in countries like Venezuela. She has worked as a back-up singer for artists like Gnomico, Chinosing, Jaime Vinas, and Perla Marola.

In 2014, she was a part of the inauguration of the Juan Bosch park in Manhattan and, in the summer of 2016, she returned to NYC in to promote herself with presentations in Cocina Taller, Inwood Bar, and Tabaco y Ron.

She just released her fist single as a solo artist, La Vida Gira with the producer of hits like MujerMujer of the transfusion group Afio Lora.
